Job Description

• The Responsible AI consultant will act as an independent technical expert, providing objective recommendations and solutions on best practices for developing AI systems. The focus will be on risk management such as risk mitigation of bias, explain ability, fairness, reliability, and sustainability. As a technical referent, this individual will challenge technical decisions and provide guidance to ensure the development of robust and trustworthy AI systems.

• She/he provides insight to develop and implement a medium- and long-term vision and strategy for leveraging Artificial Intelligence to drive business growth. She/he provides strategic guidance on risk frameworks, such as whether and how to invest in Responsible AI initiatives. She/he can also act as a sounding board thanks to her/his experience for any AI framework.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and implement AI Risk Frameworks (boards, policies, processes, artefacts, and tools) to ensure robustness and fairness of high-risk AI systems and use cases:
• Accountability and ownership
• Robustness and safety
• Transparency and explain ability
• Human Oversight
• Privacy and data management
• Non-discrimination and fairness
• Societal and environmental impact

Collaborate, support, and interact:

• Closely with client on Legal, Risk, and Data topics to align our strategy with Group policies and frameworks.
• Intensively with our Data scientists and Business analysts to design and implement concrete solutions managing the risks of high-risk systems.
• Transversally with our Business owners to ensure the end-to-end risk management of our AI services.
• Run or participate in some of the risk management processes ensuring the sustainability of our AI solutions.

Mandatory:

• Technical experience in Artificial Intelligence, preferably as a data scientist.
• Risk-oriented and able to detect and manage the risks of Artificial Intelligence from different perspectives: ethical, operational, IT, security, and technical (bias, hallucinations, explain ability, etc.).
• Good understanding of the legal regulatory framework surrounding AI development and deployment (including European AI Act, GDPR, etc.).

Mandatory:

• Understanding of the financial sector business and good understanding of the banks' challenges, products, and processes.
• Strong interest or passion for data & analytics, and risk management related topics.
