• Machine learning, AI & data science knowledge to be applied on impactful projects.
• You have at least 4 years of relevant applied experience
• MSc or Ph.D. with excellent academic results in the field of Computer Science, Machine Learning, Mathematics, Statistics, or other quantitative fields
• Analytical and content strength (in DS work field): sees which DS techniques apply to the business problem at hand, able to structure the approach and a good programmer.
• Technical efficiency to create production ready models and roll them out.
• Knowledge of python, GCP & other cloud providers, GIT, ML algorithms, Model lifecycle.
• Stakeholder management and strong communication skills.
• Financial and banking knowledge as well as how it translates to analytics

The team

We work in a progressive and agile way of working, where new ideas are valued ahead of convention. The team is composed of a mix of Data Analysts and Data Scientists and supported by both a Product Lead and Analytics translator. You will be joining us on our project-based way of working where most tracks are worked on by a small, dedicated team of 2-3 people mixing the roles available in the team with extra support from subject matter experts specific to the track. This project-based way of working also means you will have the possibility to work on different topics ranging from pure marketing ‘propensity to buy’, to more foundational building blocks of the bank, such as classifying customer feedbacks all the way to customer facing features of the app like transaction categorization.
