Your role and responsibilities

As a Global Product Manager for Software and New Business Models – Grid Components you will drive the growth and development of Grid Components software products and new business models, man-aging them through their lifecycle. You will develop strategic plans and implement software-as-products strategies. You will explore and implement new business models like subscriptions and pay-per-use functionality. You'll work in an intercultural team of global product managers for Grid Components and actively collaborate with Incubator projects. You will report directly to the Global Portfolio Manager, ensuring a clear line of communication and support. Your primary goal is to help the company achieve its business objectives. Your role will be crucial in delivering innovative products and solutions to our partners & customers and being one step ahead. Work type: 50% from the office and 50% from home Location: Germany - Ratingen / Finland - Vasa Your responsibilities:

  • Market Intelligence: Dive deep into market trends, conduct competitor analysis, and stay ahead of emerging technologies. Uncover customer pain points and identify unmet needs, positioning us as the go-to solution provider.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop a forward-thinking roadmap aligned with our visionary goals. Anticipate future market requirements and seize opportunities for disruptive innovation that set us apart.
  • Product Vision and Execution: Collaborate closely with world-class technical teams to bring the product vision to life. Define clear and inspiring specifications that drive innovation and creativity.
  • Lifecycle Management: Conduct rigorous analysis of existing products, track performance metrics, identify gaps, and implement strategic actions to keep our offerings cutting-edge and competitive.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Collaboration Catalyst: Build bridges between external markets, partners, and internal functions. Work seamlessly with Sales, Operations, and R&D teams to foster cross-functional innovation and drive our success.
  • Project Prioritization: Masterfully juggle multiple product development projects, set ambitious targets, rally cross-functional teams, and ensure we exceed expectations.
  • Product Launch Excellence: Craft compelling narratives for product launches that capture attention and drive excitement. Implement effective communication strategies that maximize adoption and engagement.
  • Channel-to-Market Mastery: Partner with channel partners, Marketing, and Sales to ensure our products reach the right audiences through the most impactful channels.
  • Customer-Centric Value Proposition: Define clear and compelling value propositions for each customer segment. Tailor messaging to resonate with diverse audiences and drive customer loyalty. Qualifications For The Role

  • Master Degree in software engineering/management, computer science or information technology
  • 2-4 years’ experience in software business, e.g. in software product management and in study of disruptive technology or innovative approaches
  • Good fluency in English is required
  • Experience in or knowledge of global electrical networks (standards, products, applications, utilities) is a plus
  • Analytical capabilities with futuristic thinking and good acumen “how to make it happen”
  • Customers, quality, application driven attitude
  • Collaborative, solution-focused approach with strong communication and relationship-building skills
