Position Overview: We are looking for a talented Senior PHP Developer to lead our backend development efforts. This role focuses primarily on backend development using PHP and SQL (MySQL), ensuring the ongoing success and optimization of our web applications.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and maintenance of web applications using PHP.
• Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable backend services.
• Collaborate with frontend developers and other team members to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Maintain and enhance existing PHP applications and implement new features.
• Ensure high performance and responsiveness of applications.
• Identify and resolve performance and scalability issues.
• Optimize and manage databases, ensuring the integrity and performance of SQL (MySQL) databases.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in backend development with PHP.
• Strong understanding of SQL and database optimization techniques, specifically with MySQL.
• Experience with Git version control.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and ability to lead and work effectively in a remote team.
• Ability to work in the European time zone.
