Data Analyst
The Job
As a Data Analyst, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the Purchasing function effectively manages and shares its data across multiple business areas, including Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and After-Sales. You will work closely with various teams to analyze complex data, optimize data structures, and ensure reliability across different platforms.
In This Role, You Will
- Understand business needs: Collaborate with the Product Owner (PO) and business teams to gather requirements and prioritize the User Stories backlog based on business value.
- Communicate with technical teams: Translate business requirements into clear specifications for data architects and engineers.
- Data modeling: Ensure alignment between business needs and data structures while maintaining data availability and reliability in tools such as GCP and Spotfire.
- Ensure reliability: Work closely with data engineers, PO/PLs, and business units to maintain ongoing data reliability and availability.
- Perform complex data analysis: Analyze large datasets to provide insights and actionable recommendations, challenging and refining business requests when needed.
- Document and support: Create functional documentation and provide user support, including incident analysis.
- Training and guidance: Support teams (users, Key Users, Product Leaders) by ensuring they understand and utilize data effectively.
- Suggest improvements: Recommend enhancements for data structuring, modeling, and process optimization.
About You
- Strong proficiency in Cloud GCP, BigQuery, GitLab, SQL, JSON, and Airflow. Knowledge of data visualization tools such as Spotfire and Looker is a plus.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and JIRA/Confluence tools.
- Excellent analytical skills, with an ability to interpret data and provide optimization-focused insights.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional discussions.
- Comfortable working in a multicultural environment across different regions (France, Romania, India).
- Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Fluent in English.
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Data Analyst.

The Salary
For the right candidate, we offer a competitive salary of €25/hr or €2,500 EUR net PM. This position is open to both contract and full-time arrangements.
