Senior Data Analyst

Position: Senior ERP Data Analyst

Location: Geneva, Switzerland (Hybrid)

Job Description

Experience Level:

• 7+ years of experience in ERP data analysis, with hands-on exposure to end-to-end business processes across finance (Record-to-Report), procurement (Procure-to-Pay), and sales (Order-to-Cash)​
• Demonstrated history of analyzing and optimizing data in these functional areas is expected.

Preferred Industry Background:

• Experience working in large enterprises or industries with complex worldwide financial operations (e.g. manufacturing, retail, or consumer goods) is preferred.
• Candidates should be familiar with multi-department ERP environments and high transaction volumes, as this role spans P2P, O2C, and R2R processes.

Certifications:

• ERP certification(s) preferred

Technical Skills:

• Strong expertise in enterprise ERP systems (SAP ECC experience is strongly preferred)​.
• Deep knowledge of key ERP modules in Finance, Procurement, and Sales and how data flows through these processes.
• Proficiency in SAP data analytics and querying tools: SAP Query, SAP ABAP Query, SAP Data Browser.
• Ability to generate reports and perform data validation across P2P, O2C, and R2R data.
• Skilled in process mapping and analysis – capable of documenting end-to-end process flows (e.g. mapping how purchase orders to payments, or orders to cash receipts flow through the system) and identifying data dependencies/improvement opportunities.
• Familiarity with business intelligence and reporting tools (such as SAP BW, Power BI) for building dashboards and visualizing ERP data insights.​

Soft Skills:

• Strong interpersonal communication skills in English; other languages are an advantage.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills – able to collaborate with finance, procurement, IT, and sales stakeholders and translate data findings into business insights​
• A problem-solving, analytical mindset is critical for investigating data issues and identifying root causes or trends​
• The candidate should be detail-oriented yet able to see the big picture, and adept at troubleshooting process/data problems. Additionally, strong organizational skills and the ability to work under deadlines in cross-functional teams (often acting as a bridge between technical teams and business users) are important​
