We're seeking an experienced Sr. Tech Director to join our product and technology group (Umain, Q42, Punchkick) based in Gothenburg, Sweden.This is your chance to lead cutting-edge projects, build a high-performing team, and shape the future of Eidra’s tech offering—not just in Gothenburg, but globally.

Role

We're looking for a seasoned professional with a strong background in digital consultancies or agencies to spearhead our technological efforts. You will play a crucial role to:

• Lead engineering for critical accounts
• Contribute to our overall growth strategy
• Shape our technology offerings in the Swedish West Coast
• Support the establishment and growth of our technical capabilities
  
  

The ideal candidate will bring a blend of technical expertise, strategic thinking, and experience in scaling teams within a consultancy environment. You'll be instrumental in bridging our global success within all markets, adapting our approaches to meet local market demands.

This role is based in Gothenburg and that’s where we’ll build our team together with the newly appointed manager for Umain, Gothenburg. Key Responsibilities As Senior Tech Director

• Technical leadership and innovation:
• Provide technical vision and direction for Eidra’s projects and initiative
• Stay at the forefront of technology trends, ensuring our offerings remain competitive in the Swedish West Coast.
• Mentor and guide project teams, fostering a culture of engineering excellence within Umain.
• Client engagement and business development:
• Lead engineering efforts for our accounts, representing Eidra’s technical expertise
• Provide expert technical leadership and strategic counsel to key clients. Partner with C-suite executives to align technology with business goals, oversee the delivery of technical solutions, and foster strong client relationships.
• Participate in sales pitches and proposals, articulating Eidra’s technical capabilities and the technical POV that will gain the prospective client’s trust in our capabilities
• Identify and pursue growth opportunities for Eidra in the Swedish market
• Solution architecture and delivery:
• Design and oversee the implementation of scalable, maintainable, and innovative technical solutions aligned with Eidra’s product philosophy
• Ensure solutions meet clients' functional and non-functional requirements, including sustainability, security, and accessibility
• Monitor project progress and quality, resolving technical challenges as they arise
• Team building and capability development:
• Play a key role in building out Eidra’s technical capabilities within the Swedish market
• Recruit, mentor, and develop a high-performing engineering team that embodies Eidra’s values
• Cross-functional collaboration:
• Work closely with design, strategy, and business teams across Eidra companies to deliver integrated solutions
• Collaborate with Eidra’s global tech leadership to align the West Coast operations with company-wide initiatives
• Contribute to Eidra's overall strategy for the Swedish market
  

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in technology leadership roles, preferably in product development or digital consultancy environments
• Proven track record of leading large-scale, complex technical projects for enterprise clients
• Strong understanding of various technology stacks and their business applications, particularly in web, mobile and back-end systems. AI experience is a plus.
• Experience as a developer, ideally on web and/or mobile applications
• Experience in building and scaling technical teams in a growth environment
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for innovation and problem-solving
