For one of our top client in Amsterdam we are looking for a senior software engineer with experience in C#, .Net. Interest in Python, PySpark and Databricks.

This is a very flexible working environment and you'll be working on-site 1 day per week.

12 months + extension

Project :

As a DevOps Engineer in the Data Capabilities team, you will collaborate with business analysts to understand and address the data processing needs of our product teams, identifying opportunities for optimization, automation ensuring robustness and scalability of data processes.

For this role the team is looking for someone with senior-level cloud and software engineering skills as well as strong interpersonal and communication skills. Here's what we're looking for:

• Educational: Bachelor's degree (preferably a Master's) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field;
• Experience: At least five years of demonstrated experience in working with data, as a (software) engineer;
• Programming Skills: Proficiency in C#, .Net. Interest in Python, PySpark and Databricks. Familiar with SOLID principles and behaviour driven design and test automation;
• Technical Knowledge: Experience with DevOps practices and Azure or other cloud platforms, as well as proficiency in using both SQL and NoSQL databases;
• Communication: Highly developed communication skills in English, both written and verbal. Great interpersonal skills;
• Teamwork and Leadership: Self-motivated, well-organized team player with the ability to coach junior developers and contribute to a high-performing team;
• Agile Methodology: Experience working in an (SAFe) Agile environment;
• Problem-Solving: Ability to quickly grasp complex problems and pick up new frameworks and tools;
• Interest in Financial Markets: Clear interest in financial markets and the responsible investment domain;
• Financial Data: Experience working with financial data, (semi) structured and unstructured data.
