AWS Cloud Engineer DevOps

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Cloud Developer to join our cloud team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in designing, implementing, and managing our AWS infrastructure using infrastructure as code with tools such as Terraform and GitHub. You will be instrumental in building and maintaining AWS Secure Enclaves landing zones, ensuring our cloud environment is secure, compliant, and optimized for performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and deploy scalable, secure, and highly available AWS infrastructure using Terraform.
• Build and manage AWS Secure Enclaves landing zones to ensure secure and compliant cloud environments.
• Implement security best practices and compliance controls across the cloud infrastructure.
• Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to deliver integrated cloud solutions.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers, sharing knowledge and best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex cloud-related issues efficiently.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience with AWS cloud services.
• Expertise in AWS security services and features, including IAM, VPC, Security Groups, KMS, etc.
• Advanced proficiency in Terraform for infrastructure provisioning and management.
• Solid experience with GitHub for source code management and team collaboration.
• In-depth knowledge of AWS Secure Enclaves and landing zone architectures.
• Strong understanding of cloud security principles and industry compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Relevant AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional, AWS Certified Security - Specialty).
• Experience with CI/CD tools and practices.
