AI Developer - AI Accelerator / Embedded Systems / Deep Learning / Neural Network

We're partnered with a global leader in tech and mobile/wireless development, and they need an AI Developer with experience in mobile device platforms, embedded systems, and/or hardware acceleration for AI/ML to join their team in Lund in Sweden on a long term freelance contract basis.

Initial contract will be 12 months', however extensions are highly likely as this is a long term project.

As an AI Developer, some of your core responsibilities will be:

• Create and build effective AI/ML models and applications tailored for use on mobile devices and user equipment.
• Leverage cutting-edge deep learning frameworks such as GNNs, ResNets, Transformers, and other neural network models, fine-tuning them for optimal on-device efficiency.
• Incorporate and enhance AI/ML models with mobile hardware components, including GPUs, dedicated AI accelerators, and embedded systems.
• Assess and measure AI/ML model performance across diverse datasets and metrics, continuously improving and adjusting the models as required.

Required skills:

• Ph.D. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Control Theory, or a similar discipline with a deep emphasis on AI/ML.
• Extensive experience with AI/ML frameworks including PyTorch, TensorFlow, MXNet, and JAX
• Advanced programming experience in Python
• Knowledge of deep learning structures, neural network development, and optimization strategies for streamlined model implementation.
• Experienced with mobile device ecosystems, embedded systems, and hardware acceleration for AI/ML tasks

Desired skills:

• Expertise in communication systems like 5G-NR and baseband signal processing algorithms
