Storage Backup Administrator

Job Description:

• Total years of experience : 8Years
• Administration of Storage & Backup environment
• Monitor Storage & Backup service availability and performance thresholds
• Expertise on EMC VNX, Dell NX/MD, EMC Networker, VEEM Backup, Replication, Data domain, Power MAX
• Experience in setting up backup media retentions, LUN creation, Storage space management
• Ensure all the Servers, Database and Data is backed up as per policy guideline
• Strong depth knowledge of analysis for storage backend problems & troubleshooting Brocade Switches
• Knowledge of upgrading HBA firmware and Drivers on UNIX and Windows Servers
• Experience in troubleshooting HBA issues on Windows and Unix Operating systems
• Execution of backup/recovery procedures
• Ensure 100% SLA compliance
• Driving initiatives to improve SLAs by analysis and Responses
• Responsible for driving all P1, P2, incidents, change requests and OEM/ vendor management for the tower
• Responsible for Technology refresh in respective domain
• ITIL V3 Foundation Certified (Preferred)
