Job Title: ERP Programmer Analyst Level II – SAGE Software Support
Location: St.John’s, Newfoundland and Labrador, onsite

Job Summary:
The selected SAGE Software Support resource(s) will be responsible for analysis, troubleshooting, support, training and upgrading of SAGE products for various government departments located across the province of Newfoundland Labrador. The assignment is time and materials based, not project based. The Team Lead or Manager responsible for SAGE support will submit a request, on behalf of the users, for support when issues or questions arise with SAGE software. Resources will provide estimates on requested work and receive approval before proceeding. Resources will provide actual hours worked for each assignment, per day.

Responsibilities:
- Supporting and troubleshooting 3 installations of SAGE Customer Relationship Management (CRM), 7 installations of SAGE 50 and 9 installations of SAGE 300 for various client departments across government;
- Working with clients to upgrade and install version updates of SAGE software which may include database and webserver changes as well as any customization retrofitting required;
- Working with clients to enhance and implement SAGE CRM software, creating and supporting customizations to meet business needs;
- Working with clients on the creation, enhancement and support of Crystal Reports;
- Working closely with clients to resolve any production or performance issues related to their SAGE software;
- Working with clients in multiple locations across the province of Newfoundland and Labrador;
- Provide oversight, guidance and training to clients and OCIO SAGE Support team in their use/support of the systems, especially after a software version upgrade or system enhancement;
- Provide OCIO required documentation after software version upgrades or enhancements;
- Guiding and assisting clients with system testing related to upgrades;
- Liaison with SAGE vendor for direction as per client issue, upgrade or other relevant information as required;
- Providing support for 3rd party integration tools such as PrintBoss, used with the SAGE software.
- Follow policies and work processes of the OCIO’s Design and Delivery Branch;
- Post-secondary education (2+ year program) computer science, IT or a related field from a recognized institution.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience Supporting Sage 50, Sage 300 applications.
- Minimum 5 years supporting Sage CRM applications.
- Minimum 5 years experience, creating, modifying and retrofitting web customizations in Sage Applications.
- Experience in migrating Sage on-premise applications to the cloud solution, Sage Intacct
- Experience in upgrading Sage CRM, Sage 50, Sage 300 applications to the latest versions
- Experience creating and supporting SQL Server Databases
- Experience creating and modifying Crystal Reports
- Experience implementing and supporting 3rd Party add-ons such as PrintBoss with Sage products
- Minimum 5 years of experience providing training to users of Sage Software.
- Minimum 5 years experience working with clients to gather requirements, recommend and implement Sage solutions.
