Junior Trader – High-Frequency Trading | Singapore

Join a leading quantitative trading firm based in Singapore, specializing in High-Frequency Trading (HFT), Medium-Frequency Trading (MFT), and DeFi strategies. We’re seeking an ambitious and technically skilled Junior Trader with Python experience to support and grow within our fast-paced trading environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor, manage, and optimize live trading strategies across global HFT markets.
• Analyze large datasets to identify patterns, inefficiencies, and new trading opportunities.
• Collaborate closely with developers and quantitative researchers to improve strategies and performance.
• Assist in developing and refining trading algorithms using Python for data analysis, automation, and backtesting.
• Quickly respond to market events and troubleshoot issues in a high-pressure, time-sensitive setting.

What We’re Looking For:

• Proficiency in Python — ability to manipulate large datasets, build analysis tools, and work with real-time data.
• Strong analytical and quantitative mindset — comfortable working with numbers, probabilities, and data-driven insights.
• Entrepreneurial spirit — eager to take ownership, learn quickly, and adapt to dynamic market conditions.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with developers, researchers, and senior traders.
• Resilience and independence — ability to stay composed under pressure, make quick decisions, and troubleshoot in fast-moving markets.

Additional Skills:

• Understanding of market microstructure, order books, or financial instruments.
• Experience with SQL, C++, or other programming languages is a plus.
• Knowledge or interest in DeFi, crypto trading, or blockchain technology.
• Previous exposure to a trading or financial environment is a bonus — but curiosity and passion matter most.
