Full Stack Engineer

Job Title: FullStack Java + React Engineer

Location: Sunnyvale, CA or Hoboken, NJ (Hybrid – 2-3 days/week on-site)

Job Type: Contract (6 months +)

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled FullStack Java + React Engineer to join our team in a hybrid capacity. The ideal candidate will play a key role in designing and developing large-scale, complex applications while ensuring software compliance and driving technical vision. This role involves working cross-functionally with teams, troubleshooting production issues, and implementing high-impact solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan system development, deployment, and ensure compliance with software standards.
• Drive technical vision and contribute to product roadmaps.
• Lead large-scale, complex, cross-functional projects.
• Oversee the discovery phase for large projects and develop high-level designs.
• Supervise cross-functional teams, including offshore associates.
• Perform root cause analysis and resolve critical business and production issues.
• Document, test, and maintain application improvements.
• Influence decision-making, build consensus, and resolve conflicts proactively.
• Align technical solutions with business objectives.

Qualifications (Must-Have):

• 5+ years of strong hands-on experience in React and Java.
• 5+ years of Java backend development experience.
• Expertise in setting up and debugging CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Experience with eCommerce applications is a plus.
