Agile Coach

Akkodis is seeking a Scrum Master for a contract position with a client in Charlotte, NC (hybrid).

In this role, you will guide and support one or more Scrum teams, ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality solutions. The ideal candidate is an experienced Scrum Master with a strong understanding of Agile methodologies, capable of fostering collaboration, managing dependencies, and ensuring seamless project execution. They will drive continuous improvement and optimize delivery management to enhance team performance.

Rate Range: $70 hour to $80 hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Facilitate Agile ceremonies (Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Reviews, and Retrospectives) to ensure effective collaboration and progress tracking.
• Manage team dependencies and proactively resolve impediments to maintain steady workflow and delivery.
• Provide visibility into team delivery plans, progress, risks, and mitigation strategies to key stakeholders.
• Enable continuous improvement by coaching teams on Agile best practices, fostering a high-performing environment.
• Support key projects by overseeing execution, ensuring alignment with business objectives, and driving delivery excellence.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product Owners, Developers, QA, and Business Stakeholders) to optimize value delivery.
• Promote Agile principles and mindset, reinforcing a culture of transparency, accountability, and adaptability

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• 8+ years of experience as a Scrum Master, with a proven track record of leading Agile teams to deliver high-quality products, meet delivery commitments and drive continuous improvement. Skilled in fostering collaboration, managing dependencies, and optimizing team performance to ensure successful project execution.
• Proven experience as a Scrum Master supporting multiple Agile teams.
• Strong understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, etc.) and delivery methodologies.
• Excellent facilitation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to drive continuous improvement through data-driven decision-making and feedback loops.
• Experience managing dependencies, risks, and impediments to maintain smooth team operations.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Knowledge of Capital Markets products
• Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM, SAFe SM) is preferred.
• Experience with Quartz or trading applications
• Familiarity with Python or SQL scripting
