Role Overview

As a .NET Lead / AI Specialist, you will be responsible for evaluating, implementing, and promoting AI-powered development tools within the company. You will drive AI integration into software development workflows, ensuring that AI assists in code generation, testing, and deployment. Additionally, you will provide technical leadership to engineering teams, helping them leverage AI for improved productivity and innovation.

Key Responsibilities

AI-Driven Development Enablement

Research and evaluate AI-powered development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Windsurf, Tabnine) to enhance engineering productivity.
Implement AI solutions to optimize coding, code reviews, automated testing, and CI/CD workflows.
Develop best practices for AI adoption in software engineering and ensure their implementation across teams.
Collaborate with DevOps, QA, and architecture teams to streamline AI-assisted development pipelines.

Technical Leadership & .NET Development

Lead the adoption of AI-driven methodologies within .NET (C#) and full-stack development environments.
Architect, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance applications utilizing modern .NET frameworks.
Ensure best coding practices, performance optimization, and security standards.
Guide teams in refactoring and modernizing existing .NET applications using AI-powered tools.

Training & Advocacy

Educate engineering teams on AI-assisted development practices through training sessions, workshops, and documentation.
Serve as the AI tools evangelist, demonstrating their benefits and driving company-wide adoption.
Establish internal AI-driven engineering guidelines and strategies for continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications

8+ years of experience in software development, with expertise in .NET (C#), ASP.NET Core, and full-stack development (React/Angular, TypeScript).
Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and modern development best practices.
Experience implementing AI-powered development tools and integrating them into software engineering workflows.
Proven ability to lead engineering teams, mentor developers, and drive technological change.
Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) and CI/CD automation.
Excellent problem-solving skills and a strategic mindset for process improvement.
Strong communication and leadership abilities to advocate for AI adoption across teams.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with LLM-based development tools and AI-assisted DevOps practices.
Background in machine learning engineering or AI-driven software development.
Familiarity with AI-based testing frameworks and intelligent debugging tools.
