Quality Assurance Engineer (Mobile)

Forte Group is looking for Mobile Quality Assurance Engineer to join our client’s high-performing team.

As a Quality Assurance Engineer you will be responsible for creating test cases, manually executing tests, identifying bugs and issues, helping developers reproduce and solve problems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide input as required to the planning, requirements definition, and design process for new features, with an eye toward testability
• Write manual tests scripts necessary to ensure the operation and correctness of new features
• Perform front-end user acceptance testing for all new features
• Conduct end-to-end regression tests in preparation for new releases
• Perform smoke tests to ensure successful releases
• Write detailed and easy-to-understand bug reports
• Provide consistent communication regarding testing status to both the Engineering and Business teams

Skills and Competencies/Education:

• 5+ years of working as a Quality Assurance professional in Agile working environment
• Solid understanding of iOS and Android native features
• Extensive knowledge of front-end mobile testing
• Ability to multitask and prioritize work
• Attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines are essential to success
• Ability to pick up new responsibilities quickly
• Analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude
• Ability to clearly document and troubleshoot errors
• Experience with the Agile methodology and regression testing
• Experience in both Confluence/JIRA or equivalent tool for software development
• Understand how to read a test plan and execute test cases
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Self-starter who can work independently as well as in team environment
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience
• Upper-intermediate English level
