Network Engineer

Our client is looking for a contract network engineer to assist with the deployment of new Fortinet firewalls and SASE (Secure

Access Service Edge) platform. This is an initial 6-month contract position with the potential for extension. It is located in Port Macquarie.

Scope of Work:

Configuration, deployment, and testing of Fortinet firewalls across multiple sites.

Implementation of Fortinet SASE solutions for secure remote access and cloud security.

Integration with existing network infrastructure and security policies.

Collaboration with internal IT teams to ensure a smooth rollout.

Documentation of configurations, processes, and handover materials.

General network admin and support of existing platforms (Cisco and Checkpoint)

Potentially AWS security and Fortinet firewall implementation (alongside Fortinet engineers)

The engineer may also be involved in, or leading, cybersecurity uplift projects as well as a network and Wi-Fi upgrade later.
