Job Description
- Conduct comprehensive penetration tests on applications, networks, and systems to identify security weaknesses and vulnerabilities.
- Simulate cyber attacks to test the effectiveness of security measures and uncover potential exploitation paths.
- Generate detailed reports on findings, including risk assessments and recommendations for remediation.
- Collaborate with development, IT, and security teams to implement and verify security measures, and provide guidance on best practices for securing systems.
- Experience: At least 2 years of experience in penetration testing or offensive security roles, with a strong understanding of network protocols, operating systems, and common vulnerabilities.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with penetration testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Metasploit, Burp Suite, Nmap), familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash), and knowledge of security standards and compliance requirements (e.g., OWASP, NIST).
- Certifications: Relevant certifications such as OSCP, CEH, or similar are highly desirable.
