We are looking for an experienced Full-Stack Developer with focus on frontend to join our Vaisala Xweather RoadAI team at Espoo/Lappeenranta, Finland. What's your role?

We are seeking creative engineers and technologists who thrive on challenges and are passionate about developing exceptional products and innovative solutions. At RoadAI, we integrate user-friendly AI tools with high-quality geospatial video data and reliable methodologies to streamline and enhance pavement inventory and management. This field offers opportunities to contribute across various interesting levels throughout our full stack.

What will you bring?

• Attention to detail
• At least 4 years of experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, and React (including testing)
• Python
• SQL
• A BSc or MSc degree in computer science or equivalent experience
• Fluent in English

Skills in the following are considered a plus:

• Enthusiasm for Agile development methodologies
• Understanding of microservice architecture
• Experience in building data visualizations (e.g., Highcharts, D3, Mapbox)
• Experience in UI/UX design
• GIS expertise (e.g., PostGIS, Shapely, Geopandas)
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• Familiarity with MongoDB
• Knowledge of DevOps practices
• Experience with AWS
