Design at RELEX

Our design organization has over 25 designers dedicated to enhancing our products and user experience across our product areas. They ask the right questions, gather insights, design new features, improve existing ones, and refine our processes. We strive to stay ahead of the market and meet our customers’ needs, enabling continuous improvement in their business processes. We offer our designers growth opportunities through creative and challenging work, while maintaining genuine flexibility and work-life balance.

We are looking for a Product Designer to join our rapidly growing team in our Manufacturing (MFG) business area. Our software helps manufacturing companies optimise their supply chain to reduce waste and operate more efficiently by using machine learning and artificial intelligence. In practise, it provides optimal plans, processes and supports decisions that take raw materials to finished goods that consumers use in everyday life.

You will be a valuable team player in the rapidly growing Manufacturing business area. We collaborate closely with product teams and engineering to strive for excellent user experience that align with business-critical requirements. Most importantly, we have a great atmosphere in the team to make sure everyone feels welcome and appreciated with opportunities to grow and be challenged.

Responsibilities as a Product Designer:

  • Translate complex, data heavy workflows into intuitive and easy to use design solutions
  • Collaborate closely with product managers and designers to design higher-level concepts, interactive prototypes, new features and components
  • Contribute components and help evolve our Design System
  • Participate in user research activities such as interviews, observations and testing to ensure designs match user expectations and needs
  • Collaborate with relevant Product Management, Design and Engineering teams to support the product roadmap and feature decisions
  • Collaborate closely with developers through implementation to make sure the designs are executed in high-quality
  • Participate in design reviews and peer feedback to continuously grow, learn and develop design excellence in our solutions

Ideal skills & experience:

  • 3+ years of experience working as a product designer
  • Demonstrated experience with end-to-end product design (user research, interaction design, visual design) with complex, data heavy B2B user interfaces
  • Great UI, visual and interaction design skills
  • Experience working directly with developers through implementation
  • Comfortable with presenting designs and articulating design decisions
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Track record of actively contributing to a positive team atmosphere by supporting colleagues, sharing knowledge, and helping solve problems collaboratively
  • A strong portfolio showcasing your ability to solve intricate problems and create thoughtful design solutions in technical domains
