Senior AI & Data Platform Engineer

We are looking for a Senior AI & Data Platform Engineer to join our product team and enhance our data platform, enabling us to deliver industry-leading B2B products. The successful candidate will not only maintain the existing platform but also develop, automate, and improve it—empowering the product team to create exceptional products for our customers. You will play a key role in building our global data platform capabilities.

In this role, you will maintain, develop, and automate our data platform, work with both bulk and streaming data, deploy custom machine learning models in production, and integrate the data platform with operational systems—all with one goal in mind: leveraging data and AI to build outstanding products with the team. Not everything at once, but based on the product team’s needs. This role requires a broad skill set, enabling us to adapt and drive new AI and data innovations as our product evolves.

Responsibilities

• Support product development by leveraging expertise in data engineering, data science, machine learning, and platform architecture.
• Data Platform Architecture & Development: Design, automate, build, and monitor our data platform to enhance scalability and performance, handling both streaming and bulk data processing.
• Stay up to date with the latest advancements in data and AI, evaluating and implementing opportunities for improvement. Continuously seek ways to automate tasks and enhance workflows.
• Develop, maintain, and deploy custom machine learning models to support our product.
• Data Analysis & Visualization: Maintain and improve existing dashboards using Tableau, Python, and Metabase.
• Collaboration & Product Development: Work closely with the data platform owner, software engineers, product managers, and designers to drive innovation and efficiency.

Requirements

• Most importantly experience in data engineering and platform development: proven ability to design, build and improve scalable data platforms. You know how to integrate data platform for operational systems in production environment, including ML automation.
• BS degree in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management or Statistics
• Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure and data warehousing, especially AWS and Snowflake.
• Ability to batch & stream data processing: Kafka, Confluent, dbt, Spark, Flink, etc.
• Strong background in Python, SQL and other relevant programming language.
• Experience in machine learning models, including deep learning, development and deployment.
• You know how to automate and orchestrate – you have built and maintained pipelines and improved CI/CD practices. Skillset related to MLOps is an advantage.
• A product-oriented mindset, working in an agile team to build great products.
• Ability to drive technical innovation and platform improvements. To succeed in this role, you should have strong self-leadership skills, take ownership of your work, and enjoy working in a team.
