Your Responsibilities:

• Defining and implementing requirements for the design and operation of an XML database.
• Conducting formal and content analysis of structured documents intended for storage in the database.
• Developing and implementing validation routines and search functionalities within the database.
• Supporting companies in standardization-related processes by delivering high-quality, efficient standards information.

Your Qualifications:

• Completed degree in information science, documentation, computer science, IT, or a similar field.
• Strong knowledge of database systems, architectures, and maintenance (NoSQL, SQL).
• Baseline proficiency in programming: Java or Python.
• Understanding of web services, service-oriented architectures, and associated technologies (HTML, HTTP, REST, JSON).
• Very nice to have: XML technologies (XML, XPath, XSL, XQuery), but not essential.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a talent for developing innovative solutions.
• Ability to collaborate across teams, combined with initiative and a results-oriented approach.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in both German and English.
