Overview


The UX/UI Designer role focuses on crafting user-friendly, visually engaging interfaces across various digital touchpoints, including landing pages, career sites, and internal platforms. The position involves conducting user research, developing wireframes and prototypes, and collaborating closely with developers and stakeholders to bring designs to life. Additionally, the role emphasizes maintaining a cohesive design system, incorporating feedback, and ensuring accessibility in all digital experiences.


Responsibilities:

  • User Interface Design: Create visually appealing, user-friendly interfaces that enhance the user experience.
  • User Experience Research: Conduct user research and usability testing to understand user needs and behaviors, using insights to inform design decisions.
  • Wireframing and Prototyping: Develop wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs using tools like Figma to effectively communicate design ideas.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the Creative Manager, developers, and stakeholders to ensure designs are feasible and align with business goals.
  • Development Handoff: Prepare all design work for proper handoff and collaborate with developers to ensure design requirements are executed effectively.
  • Design Systems: Create, maintain, and evolve the design system to ensure consistency across all digital platforms.
  • Feedback Implementation: Gather feedback from users and team members to iterate on designs for continuous improvement.
  • Accessibility: Ensure all designs comply with web accessibility standards to provide an inclusive experience for all users.


Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a UI/UX designer in the SaaS industry, preferably within fintech or payment solutions.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator), and other optimization tools.
  • Knowledge of HTML/CSS: Basic understanding of front-end technologies to effectively communicate with developers is a bonus.
  • Portfolio: A strong portfolio showcasing previous UI/UX design work.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to solve complex design challenges creatively while considering user needs and business objectives.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to articulate design concepts and collaborate with cross-functional teams.


Preferred Attributes:

  • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with payment technologies and trends in the fintech space.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, typical of tech companies that emphasize agile development practices.
