Avaloq Developer

What would be your tasks?

• Take over the parameterization (development) of functionality for the core banking system Avaloq
• Develop technical concepts for bank transformation projects
• Develop, improve and maintain innovative and sustainable IT solutions in terms of cash flows (payments, foreign exchange, monetary deposits), securities (stock market orders, OST, SBL and REPO) and derivatives (IRS, CDS, FRA)
• Participate in the development and maintenance of the processes for feeding exchange rate, interest rate and financial asset prices
• Lead your team in Avaloq projects in all project phases (sales, analysis / design, implementation, stabilization)
• Analyze the functional needs of users and proposals for improvement
• Support our customers in advising on the management of strategic or operational tasks
• You will be in close contact and interact directly with our customers
• Responsible for requirements gathering, specification, implementation, testing, documentation and training

What kind of profile are we looking for?

• University degree or higher education, ideally additional training in the field of financial services and consulting and/or project management
• At least 5 years of experience as an Avaloq Certified Professional in consulting and/or in project business with Avaloq
• Strong knowledge of at least one of those programming languages: Cobol, RPG, PL SQL
• Good experience with Core Banking such as Avaloq, T24 or Calypso, or with Java Springboot and/or PL SQL
• You can work independently and have the ability to convey technical information to non-technical listeners
• You have a high level of teamwork and social skills
• Excellent written and spoken English and French
