  • Location: Luxembourg – 75% remote
  • Rate: 400-450 Euros/day
  • Duration: 6-12 Months (B2B/ Freelance contract)
  • Job Overview:
  • As a Business Analyst in the banking division, you will work closely with key stakeholders including business leaders, IT teams, and other departments to understand business needs, gather and document requirements, and support the development of banking solutions. Your role will involve analyzing business operations, recommending process improvements, and ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Requirements Gathering: Work with business stakeholders to identify, gather, and document functional and non-functional requirements for banking systems and solutions.
  • Business Process Analysis: Conduct detailed analysis of current banking processes and workflows to identify inefficiencies or areas for improvement.
  • Data Analysis: Analyze banking data and generate reports to help stakeholders make informed decisions.
  • Solution Design: Collaborate with IT teams and vendors to design and implement solutions that meet business requirements.
  • Testing and Validation: Support the testing of new banking systems, ensuring solutions are meeting business requirements and functionality.
  • Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary liaison between business units, technical teams, and third-party vendors.
  • Project Support: Assist in project planning, ensuring timely and successful implementation of banking initiatives.
  • Documentation: Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation related to requirements, processes, and project progress.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all banking solutions meet regulatory and compliance standards.
  • Training and Support: Provide training and support to end-users on new systems, tools, and processes.
  • Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in the banking or financial services industry.
  • Strong understanding of banking operations, products, and services.
  • Proficiency in business analysis tools and methodologies.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
  • Experience with process mapping, data analysis, and reporting tools.
  • Knowledge of financial regulations and industry standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with various stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with banking software or core banking systems is a plus.
  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master’s degree in Business Administration or a related field.
  • Certifications such as CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional) or PMI-PBA (Professional in Business Analysis) are advantageous.
  • Experience with Agile or other project management methodologies.
  • Knowledge of data analytics or business intelligence tools (e.g., SQL, Tableau, Power BI).
