IT System Engineer

At Lionscout, we are currently partnering with a leading logistics company that provides integrated quay-to-quay and door-to-door services across Europe. Our client, with a strong presence in maritime transport, is looking to expand their IT team and is seeking a highly skilled IT System Engineer to join their headquarters in Luxembourg.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing the infrastructure across multiple data centers in Luxembourg and remote sites in Western Europe, supporting over 1,000 users. Your tasks will include incident management, troubleshooting, system monitoring, and performance optimization. Additionally, you will work closely with internal and external teams to ensure seamless operations and implement effective change management processes.

Key Requirements:

• Strong experience in managing IT systems across multi-technology environments.
• Expertise in Windows Server (including clustering, AD), MS Exchange Server, MS SQL Server, and Redhat Linux.
• Familiarity with cloud technologies (Azure, Office 365) and virtualization tools (Hyper-V, VMware, Citrix XENAPP).
• Proficiency in scripting for automation and system efficiency.
• Experience in networking, load balancing, and security protocols.
• Fluent in English and French.
