DevOps Engineer

Role Description:

As an Azure DevOps Engineer with Linux, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining RHEL8 servers, monitoring system health, ensuring compliance of Azure pipelines, and performing vulnerability management. You will work on development, testing, and investigations to ensure smooth DevOps operations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Infrastructure Management:

• Handle Linux (RHEL8) servers – Incident management (Sev2-Sev5).
• Monitor environments using Splunk and Dynatrace.
• Troubleshoot user login issues and system performance problems.
• Perform WebSphere application server upgrades.
• Manage vulnerability assessments using Qualys.

2. Development & Automation:

• Develop automation scripts using Python, Bash, YAML, and Ansible.
• Create and maintain Azure DevOps pipelines for CI/CD.
• Manage Azure Repos and Nexus3 artifacts.
• Migrate from JIRA to Azure DevOps and Bitbucket to Azure Repos.
• Build Dynatrace dashboards for RHEL8 server monitoring.
• Configure Azure proxies and deployment agents for RHEL8 servers.
• Develop scripts for auto-triggering Dev Pipelines.
• Automate batch loading processes for backend testing.
• Configure RFTM routes for file deliveries.

3. Testing & Compliance:

• Prepare and manage test environments for ALMA matter testing and BTL testing.
• Conduct quarterly STS testing and integrate required changes into pipelines.
• Ensure compliance with server security standards and NPA (Non-Person Accounts) checks.

4. Investigation & Troubleshooting:

• Investigate Azure proxy issues, RWA integration, and WLM lookups.
• Troubleshoot WebSphere and RHEL8 upgrade-related issues.
• Resolve CyberArk NPA and Safe Sets security concerns.
• Perform compliance and vulnerability scans using Qualys.

Required Skills:

✔ Cloud DevOps: Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps.

✔ Linux Administration: Strong expertise in RHEL8 server management.

✔ Monitoring Tools: Experience with Splunk, Dynatrace for system monitoring.

✔ Scripting & Automation: Proficiency in Python, Bash, Ansible, YAML.

✔ CI/CD & Pipeline Management: Expertise in Azure Pipelines, Azure Repos, Nexus3.

✔ Security & Compliance: Experience in CyberArk, Qualys vulnerability management.

✔ Application Management: Hands-on WebSphere upgrade and troubleshooting.

Desirable Skills:

• Agile methodologies – working in Scrum/Kanban teams.
• Experience in DevSecOps and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
