We are actively seeking a highly skilled Senior UI Designer with UX Expertise and a robust visual design background to join our Experience Design team. This role is ideal for someone adept at creating top-notch, visually compelling interfaces, particularly in e-commerce design, using Figma and design systems.
Reporting to the Head of Experience Design, you'll collaborate closely with our Experience Consulting team to craft outstanding digital experiences.

This role is ideal for someone adept at creating top-notch, visually compelling interfaces, particularly in e-commerce design, using Figma and design systems.
Reporting to the Head of Experience Design, you'll collaborate closely with our Experience Consulting team to craft outstanding digital experiences.
Key Responsibilities
Visual and UI Design Excellence:
- Design visually stunning, pixel-perfect user interfaces to enhance user experiences. Maintain a keen focus on aesthetics, typography, color theory, and layout. Contribute to and refine design systems to ensure consistency across projects.
- Develop engaging and scalable UI solutions tailored specifically for e-commerce
- Create intuitive, seamless user flows that elevate the shopping experience.
- Conduct usability testing and refine designs based on user feedback.
- Optimize e-commerce interfaces to boost conversion rates, user engagement, and retention.
- Ensure designs align with user research insights and client business objectives.
- Build and iterate interactive prototypes in Figma to visualize design concepts. Implement smooth interaction patterns and micro-interactions that enhance usability.
- Apply expertise in e-commerce UI/UX best practices to optimize user flows, product pages, and checkout experiences.
- Work with sophisticated design systems (e.g., Alokai Storefront UI 2.5+, Material UI, or similar). Ensure designs adhere to accessibility standards (WCAG) and are responsive across devices.
- Collaboration & Communication: Collaborate closely with UX designers, developers, and stakeholders to bring design visions to fruition.
- Confidently present design concepts and rationale to clients and team members. Iterate on designs based on user testing, data insights, and client feedback.
- 5+ years of UI/UX design experience with a strong emphasis on visual design.
- A portfolio demonstrating exceptional visual design across digital platforms, especially in e-commerce.
- Advanced proficiency in Figma, including components, variables, auto layout, and prototyping.
- Experience with design systems, UI principles, and best practices.
- Familiarity with user research, usability testing, and UX optimization.
- Basic knowledge of HTML & CSS is advantageous.
- Experience designing for accessibility (WCAG standards).
- Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate design decisions effectively.
- Proficiency in English and Dutch required; French is a plus.
