Cyber Security Engineer

As Cybersecurity engineer you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining secure infrastructure and security platforms that enable cybersecurity operations. The role combines aspects of platform engineering, DevOps, and security engineering to ensure systems are resilient, scalable, and compliant with security standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Security Infrastructure & Automation

Develop and maintain security platforms such as SIEM (Security Information and Event Management), SOAR (Security Orchestration, Automation, and Response), and identity management solutions.
Automate security controls, logging, monitoring, and compliance processes using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC).
Integrate security tools into CI/CD pipelines to enhance DevSecOps practices.

Cloud & On-Prem Security

Implement security best practices in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and on-premises infrastructure.
Ensure cloud security posture management (CSPM) and compliance with frameworks like NIST, ISO 27001, and CIS benchmarks.
Secure containers, Kubernetes clusters, and serverless applications.

Threat Detection & Response Support

Support cybersecurity teams by optimizing security tools and ensuring log collection, correlation, and analysis.
Work with SOC (Security Operations Center) teams to improve threat detection and response capabilities.
Deploy and manage endpoint detection and response (EDR), intrusion detection (IDS/IPS), and vulnerability management systems.

Compliance & Governance

Ensure security infrastructure aligns with regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, MAS-TRM, PDPA).
Conduct security audits and risk assessments to identify gaps in infrastructure security.
