We Are Hiring: Senior PHP Developer

Are you a seasoned PHP developer ready to tackle exciting projects and craft scalable, reliable backend solutions? Join our development agency and work on innovative, impactful projects for some of the biggest names in Slovenia and beyond.

We are looking for Senior PHP Developer responsible for designing and developing backend components and connecting the application with other web services.

We work on open-source platforms and custom projects. We have successfully developed over 50 e-commerce shops (such as iglusport.si, kozelj.si, bigbang.si, mass.si, and intersport.si), over 200 web pages (kras.si, delamaris.si, inotherm.si) and numerous custom web applications (cooling configurator and PC building configurator for Corsair), from the very early stages of planning to the final stages of launching and maintaining them. We focus on creating cutting-edge solutions and building long-term partnerships with our clients.

Our current technologies

• Open source platforms: PimCore, Shopware, Magento, WordPress
• Backend: PHP, Symfony, MySQL, REST API, GraphQL
• Frontend: Knockout.js, React, Typescript, vue.js, React Native
• CI / CD tools: Git, Docker, Gitlab
• Other: Kafka, Scala, and other technologies and solutions for custom projects

What do we expect from you?

• At least 4 years of professional experience in backend development.
• Advanced knowledge of PHP and Symfony framework.
• Strong expertise in MySQL database management and query optimization.
• Passion for coding and clean, readable code.
• Proficiency in Version Control Systems (GIT), Composer and Docker.
• Experience with REST APIs and/or GraphQL.
• Fluency in Slovene and English (written and verbal).
• Great teamwork skills with the ability to give and receive constructive feedback.
• What would be a bonus:
• Familiarity with open-source platforms like Magento2, Pimcore, or Shopware.
• Knowledge of front-end technologies (e.g., React, CSS, JavaScript).
