PowerBI Business Analyst - Commercial Operations

We are looking for a Business Analyst to join PTC’s Commercial Operations Reporting team!

You will manage dedicated reporting portfolios across various organizational functions, including Customer Success, Subscription Management, Sales, Enablement. This will involve collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements, working with Operations to define data, and partnering with Systems teams to address technology needs and close data gaps.

Your Team

PTC’s Commercial Operations & Reporting Organization stablishes the Business Operating Rhythm, delivers the processes and technologies to the Field, and provides analytics products to support business decision-making.

Your immediate team plays a pivotal role in delivering comprehensive insights on business

performance and facilitating cross-functional business reviews and alignment. We thrive on turning data into insights, transforming challenges into opportunities, embracing new analytics technologies, and sharing knowledge!

Your Day-To-Day

• Provide accurately and timely the Analytics Portfolio
• You will work with concepts/ metrics like: Subscription Management, Customer Success, Services, Enablement / Pipeline, Bookings, Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR), Renewal Rate
• Implement new requirements by aligning with the stakeholders on the expected impact, priorities and the operating rhythm; gain knowledge on the business processes that generate the data you will leverage into the reports as well as determine the level of data completeness and accuracy.
• Recommend to the stakeholder’s new visualization, analytics and data process perspectives
• Effectively communicate enhancements and drive adoption of the Analytics Portfolio through presentation sessions and ongoing support
• Partner with other teams like: Operations, data governance, Systems, IT to ensure that the appropriate data points and sources are systematically available
• Drive further automation with Power Automate or other Data flows options
• Regularly review the Analytics Portfolio usage and drive changes accordingly
• Document the maintenance procedures and methodologies
• Share recent deliverables with your team, highlighting technical challenges and business outcomes to contribute to the collective knowledge of the team

Your Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a business or a STEM field, coursework or certificates in analytics are a plus
• 3+ years of experience in Reporting, Analysis, and Visualization tools
• Proficiency in Power BI development
• Experience with leveraging tools like Salesforce, OAC is a plus
• Enthusiasm for problem-solving and exploring insights from large datasets
• Technical aptitude to learn new tools, technologies, and methodologies
• Proactive contributor who thrives in a dynamic environment that embraces effective cross functional collaboration fostering trust-based working relationships
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
