Key Responsibilities:
- Data Analysis: Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets related to financial markets, investment portfolios, trading, and economic indicators.
- Financial Insights: Provide actionable insights by analyzing market trends, financial products, and client data to support decision-making processes.
- Reporting: Develop and maintain automated dashboards and reports to present key financial metrics and trends to stakeholders.
- Modeling & Forecasting: Support the development of predictive models, risk assessments, and forecasting tools to enhance investment strategies.
- Collaboration: Work closely with teams across trading, risk management, and finance to ensure data-driven decision-making and business alignment.
- Compliance & Accuracy: Ensure data integrity and comply with industry regulations, ensuring accuracy in all reporting and analysis.
Qualifications:
- Education: A Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field such as Finance, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science or Data Science from a top-tier university either globally or within Spain (e.g., Universidad de Barcelona, Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, IE University, or similar).
Experience:
- A minimum of 2-3 years of experience working as a Data Analyst within the financial services industry (e.g., investment banks, asset management, trading, financial technology).
- Solid understanding of financial data, including equity, bonds, derivatives, and market behavior.
Skills:
- Proficiency in data analysis tools such as SQL, Excel, and Python or R.
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
- Familiarity with financial data sources like Bloomberg, Reuters, or similar platforms.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to synthesize complex financial data into clear insights.
- Fluent in English (both written and spoken); proficiency in Spanish is a plus.
