Junior Data Engineer

Introduction

In this role, you'll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.

Your Role And Responsibilities

As a Junior Data Engineer, you will be part of our Data Services practice – a dynamic community of passionate data professionals. In this role, you will work directly with our clients to design, build and run solutions that enable them to unlock the full potential of their data. Your day-to-day activities include:

• Being a data advocate for our clients and helping them unlock business value by using their data.
• Helping our clients modernize their data landscape by choosing the right tools, storage, and processing solutions.
• Building, deploying and managing data infrastructure that can adequately handle the needs of a rapidly growing data-driven organization.
  
  

Required Technical And Professional Expertise

• Data Engineer with 1+ years of experience
• Fluent level of Dutch (C1)
  
  

Preferred Technical And Professional Experience

• Experience with Azure or Google Cloud (certifications are a plus)
• Experience with Python, Databricks and Apache Spark
• CI/CD or infrastructure as code
