We are looking for a skilled Senior Full-stack Engineer (Typescript + Java) to join our team.

Our customer is the European online car market with over 30 million monthly users, with a market presence in 18 countries. As a Senior Fullstack Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of online car markets and enhancing the user experience for millions of car buyers and sellers.

Project Tech stack:

JavaScript, React, Java, Spring Boot, Scala, AWS, TypeScript

Responsibilities:

  • Work with the product-driven services
  • Maintenance of existing services (e.g., bug fixes, security updates, improvements in Java, Scala, and TypeScript)
  • Migrating legacy services to new technologies (Scala/ Java)
  • Helping with decreasing a tech debt

Requirements:

Must-Have:

  • 5+ years of experience with React or Next.JS and Typescript
  • At least 3 years of experience with Java for developing APIs and web applications.
  • Exposure to or experience with Scala, or eagerness to learn it
  • AWS 3+ years practical experience.
  • Previous experience working with Optimizely is a must;
  • Deep practical knowledge of AWS Kafka, AWS DynamoDB, and PostgreSQL
  • A self-driven, quick learner who can grasp tasks, gather necessary information, and work independently.
  • At least Upper-intermediate English level

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with Google Analytics (GA tracking parameters)
  • Previous experience with A/B testing
