Backend Engineer

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Backend Engineer to join our client team.

Technology Stack:

Must Have: Java 11, Spring Boot, Microsoft Azure, Microservices

Should Have: Apache Kafka (or equivalent messaging service experience)

Could Have: NoSQL (Cosmos DB)

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, scalable microservices using Java 11 and Spring Boot.

Deploy and manage applications on the Microsoft Azure cloud environment.

Implement and integrate messaging systems, preferably Apache Kafka (or demonstrate experience with other messaging services).

Work with microservices architecture, ensuring efficient communication and data flow between services.

Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving code quality and best practices.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, QA engineers, and DevOps, to deliver high-quality software.

Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.

(Optional) Work with NoSQL databases, specifically Cosmos DB.

Required Skills and Experience:

Proven experience in Java 11 development.

Strong expertise in Spring Boot framework.

Extensive experience with Microsoft Azure cloud platform.

Solid understanding of microservices architecture and design patterns.

Experience with messaging systems, preferably Apache Kafka.

Familiarity with RESTful APIs and web services.

Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.

Strong communication and collaboration skills.

(Preferred) Experience with NoSQL databases such as Cosmos DB.

Experience with testing frameworks (JUnit, Mockito).

Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
