Tasks

We are seeking an experienced Golang developer to work within an IAM programme team to develop and implement new solutions as part of a global strategic project aimed at uplifting Secrets Management and Workload Identity capabilities.

Responsibilities

Work alongside solution architects to implement new solutions as part of a global initiative in Secrets Management
Liaise with other technical teams and SMEs in the Bank to ensure the solution correctly integrates with other existing and strategic solutions and conforms with control frameworks
Ensure deliverables are completed on time in line with the project plan and issues are escalated to the team lead

Requirements

Essentials Skills:

Minimum 6 years of experience in Software Development
Excellent command of the English language, both written and spoken
Strong Golang programming skills
Experience in developing and consuming APIs and build web-based applications
Understanding of cryptography principles
Familiar with working in containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and Cloud Platforms (e.g. AWS/GCP/Azure)
Must have a good understanding of DevOps tooling such as CI/CD, Jenkins
Must have used version control tools like Git
Able to work autonomously with limited or no supervision
Driven and enthusiastic with a 'can-do’ attitude and a strong sense of ownership
Good understanding of performance and security aspects of software development

Desirable Skills

Experience working with HSMs
Experience with M2M OIDC
Experience Identity and Access Management
Experience of developing REST APIs and clients
Experience of writing password management plugins for Secrets Management or PAM tools
Experience of Linux and virtualisation technologies
Understanding of secrets management and workload identity principles.
Node.js programming skills
Java programming skills
Python programming skills
Experience writing technical documentation such as LLD’s, release notes etc
Ability to automate development activities
