We are a forward-thinking technology company seeking a skilled Android Developer with specialized expertise in compiler development to join our client's team. This role offers the opportunity to work on advanced projects on the upcoming EU legislative changes.

Position: Android Developer with Compiler Expertise

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement compilers with a focus on creating efficient symbol tables for variable tracking and management.
• Develop and refine optimizers to enhance the performance of compiled code.
• Build and maintain object hierarchies to support structured and modular compiler design.
• Create source-to-source compilers to transform code between high-level languages or dialects.
• Construct robust parsers to accurately interpret and process source code syntax.
• Generate optimized, executable code through advanced code generation techniques.
• Leverage knowledge of the Android SDK, including its source code, to integrate compiler solutions with Android applications (preferred but not required).
• Collaborate with mobile development teams to ensure seamless compatibility and performance on Android platforms.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical challenges in compiler and Android development workflows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proven experience in compiler development, with hands-on expertise in:
• Symbol Table construction and management.
• Code optimization techniques.
• Object-oriented design and hierarchy implementation.
• Source-to-source compilation processes.
• Parser development for syntactic analysis.
• Code generation for target environments.
• Familiarity with the Android SDK
• Solid programming skills in languages such as Java, Kotlin
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a passion for tackling intricate technical problems.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills to articulate technical concepts to diverse teams.
