Product Manager

Altınay Defense Technologies, founded in 2014 as part of the Altınay Technology Group, has been providing products and solutions in the fields of Motion Control Systems, Unmanned Systems, Stealth Systems, Weapon Systems, Ammunition Destruction, and Production Systems to various stakeholders in the government, private sector, and international markets. The company also undertakes the execution of various projects.

With its significant added value, Altınay Defense strives to become a global player while implementing the technologies that our country, particularly the Turkish Armed Forces, needs. The company continuously works to enhance its capabilities and resources, aiming to achieve this goal. Currently, Altınay Defense has over 200 employees, the majority of whom are expert engineers.

We are looking for a Product Manager who will join our team at Product Management and Marketing Directorate.

Job Description

• Evaluate product ideas in line with the company’s strategic goals by preparing product gate reports and manage the entire product lifecycle.
• Conduct industry trend, target audience, and market analysis to identify risks and opportunities.
• Perform market positioning, pricing, and stakeholder management.
• Align with relevant teams to agree on resources, timeframes, and efforts required to create the product roadmap.
• Define the product scope and determine the key features that should be prioritized for development.
• Collaborate with the project team to prepare, review, and manage the approval process for documents to be delivered to the customer.
• Ensure effective communication among teams and keep the team informed about strategic changes and needs.
• Plan the product launch, work with marketing and business development teams to position the product correctly.
• Prepare technical specifications, brochures, documents, and presentations for the product and ensure they are kept up to date.
• Contribute to product promotion activities when assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Management Engineering or Bachelor's degree in related fields. MBA is a plus,
• Having minimum 5-6 years of experience in Product Management, R&D or Marketing.
• Experience working on projects or within companies in the defense industry, with a strong understanding of sector dynamics.
• Product or project experience in unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) or motion control systems such as gimbal systems, turret systems, and motor drivers.
• No restriction to travel,
