Your Contribution to Our Growth

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mobile Developer to join our growing team in Dubai. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the development of our mobile applications, with a focus on creating a white-label crypto trading app and potentially expanding into mobile banking services. Your expertise will be crucial as we aim to create a seamless mobile experience for users.

This role will have a unique opportunity to take ownership of projects such as a mobile trading app that allows users to buy, sell, and manage their cryptocurrency portfolios. You’ll work with React Native, JavaScript, and TypeScript to build applications for both Android and iOS. With a strategic emphasis on developing apps tailored to local user needs, you will ensure that our mobile apps offer intuitive interfaces, charting functionality, and an overall seamless user experience.

Your role will also involve working closely with a cross-functional team, ensuring that the mobile app is designed to meet both business and user requirements. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in the future of Aquanow’s mobile offerings and contribute to the growth of our team. This hybrid role offers the chance to work with a dynamic, globally distributed team and contribute to the development of innovative solutions in the crypto space.

What You’ll Do

• Design, develop, and maintain performant, scalable, and secure web applications using React, TypeScript, and Next.js.
• Brainstorm, estimate and design solutions for new feature requests together with the engineering team.
• Review pull requests to ensure quality and highly testable solutions are being contributed to the application codebase.
• Work with and contribute to internal frontend libraries.
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to Jr. and Intermediate Frontend Engineers.
• Write unit and integration tests and work with QA to identify gaps in test coverage.
• Diagnose and fix bugs and performance bottlenecks.
• Work with the Product Design team to ensure UX/UI is feasible.
• UI implementation is pixel-perfect and responsiveness has been considered.

We’d Love to See

• 5+ years of experience as a Mobile Engineer.
• Strong proficiency in React and TypeScript.
• Proven experience with end to end mobile development experience, with projects landing in the app store.
• Hands-on experience with hybrid mobile app development.
• Deep understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and strategies to resolve them.
• Expertise with version control tools, particularly Git.
• Experience with Redux, React Query, and other front-end state management libraries.
• Familiarity with UI libraries like MUI and component development tools such as Storybook.
• Knowledge of GraphQL and experience working with a React-GraphQL framework.
• Familiarity with AWS .
• Experience with Vercel and GitHub workflows.
• Understanding of cryptocurrency technologies is a strong asset (though not required).
