Senior Fullstack Engineer

Senior Full-Stack Engineer - Python | Hybrid Downtown Toronto

We're working with a highly respected financial institution to find an experienced Senior Full-Stack Engineer to join their Total Fund Technology team.

In this hybrid opportunity, you'll contribute to the design, development, and support of cutting-edge, cloud-native applications that support enterprise-wide portfolio and fund management strategies.

Location: Downtown Toronto (Hybrid - 4 days onsite per week) - Do not apply if this does not work.
Compensation:

• Base: $140,000-$150,000

• Design, build, test, and support high-impact technology solutions for investment management

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment

• Lead initiatives to improve engineering practices and system reliability

• Work hands-on across the stack-backend (Python) and frontend (Angular or React)

• Operate in a cloud-first environment (AWS preferred) and manage CI/CD pipelines

• Drive continuous improvement and innovation within the team

• Support and enhance applications critical to fund and portfolio-level decision-making
  
  

• 5+ years of full-stack development experience

• Capital Markets or Investment Management experience

• Strong proficiency in Python

• Frontend experience with Angular or React

• Cloud experience (AWS preferred)

• Proficiency in DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines

• AWS Data tooling like AWS Glue, EMR, Athena, Redshift, Lake Formation, Apache Spark, Apache Hive, Apache Airflow, S3, CloudWatch, Lambda

• Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies with tools like Git, Jira, Confluence
  
  

• Exposure to DASH or BI tools like QuickSight/Tableau

• Experience with Terraform or other Infrastructure-as-Code tools
