About the Role:

Position: Product Designer

Location: Remote (PST) Canada

About the Role:

We are looking for a multi-skilled Product Designer with expertise in visual design, experience design, interface construction, branding, and storytelling. The ideal candidate will work closely with product managers, engineers, researchers, and other designers to redefine how customers consume news and content, using AI-driven solutions to enhance comprehension, reduce misinformation, and limit bias.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in product design, UX/UI, or interaction design.
• Experience working on consumer products at scale.
• Strong knowledge of user interface and functionality design.
• Expertise in prototyping tools like Figma, After Effects, Protopie, Framer, or similar.
• Design system experience (either as a contributor or consumer) – 5+ years.
• Strong visual design and storytelling skills – 5+ years.
• Experience creating usability studies, personas, user flows, wireframes, and style guides.
• Proficiency in current and emerging web technologies and standard design software.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.

Salary Range: CAD $ 120,000 - 124,000 Annually - Factors that may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
