Back End Developer

Job Title: Backend Developer

Location: Singapore (CBD)

Position Type: Full-time Permanent

Responsibilities:

• Contribute to the development and maintenance of data engineering solutions for the Enterprise Data Warehouse.
• Design, develop, and manage backend systems to support data transformation processes and improve data accessibility.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and build efficient data workflows.
• Use SQL to analyze, manipulate, and manage large data sets.
• Work with dbt Core to build and maintain data transformation models.
• Help implement agile methodologies within the team, delivering high-quality solutions in a fast-paced environment.
• Stay up to date with industry trends and technologies, continuously improving your skills and knowledge.

Qualifications:

• At least 3 years of hands-on experience in backend development or data engineering.
• CAT-1 cleared or eligible candidates ONLY.
• Proficient in SQL with a strong grasp of relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server).
• Solid experience with dbt Core for data transformation and management.
• Basic knowledge of Python for automating data tasks.
• Exposure to Snowflake data warehousing platform.
• Agile, quick to adapt, and eager to learn in a fast-moving environment.
• Strong analytical mindset with a passion for solving complex data problems.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
