Job Title: Senior ActivePivot Developer

Job Location: Singapore

We are seeking a talented ActivePivot Developer to join our dynamic Capital Market Department!

As an ActivePivot Developer, you will be responsible for extending ActiveViam ActivePivot in Java (implementing custom measures, custom control logic, custom feeding, etc) as part of a delivery team that depends on this component. Our Client's ActivePivot deployments are highly customized and critical, and someone with hands-on experience extending ActivePivot and managing vendor patches and upgrades is critical.

Capital Markets IT involves technology solutions and systems used in financial markets for trading, investment, and related activities. This includes electronic trading platforms, risk management systems, market risk, counterparty risk, algorithmic trading, data analytics, and Regulatory measures. The use of advanced technologies like API's, artificial intelligence and cloud solutions are also becoming increasingly prevalent in capital markets to enhance efficiency and decision-making processes.

Responsibilities:-

• Implement, extend, or modify custom measures that implement financial aggregation and other custom banking logic within the ActivePivot cube.
• Work with ActiveViam to manage ActivePivot version upgrades, security patches, and API changes which impact custom code.
• Analyse user needs and develop software solutions, applying principles and techniques of computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis.
• Update , enhances existing software capabilities, and develops and direct software testing and validation procedures.
• Work with computer hardware engineers to integrate hardware and software systems and develop specifications and performance requirements
• Build quality, shippable, and reusable code according to design and coding standards.
• Write simple, purposeful, and lean code that aligns with CMI project guidelines and quality standards.
• Perform peer reviews when needed to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices.
• Implement Configuration Management on each of your work items to ensure version control and traceability.
• Perform unit tests to verify the functionality.
• Automate tests according to the test strategy, ensuring test coverage targets are met and adhering to software factory practices.
• Implement and perform technical tests as defined in the test strategy to ensure the software meets all requirements.
• Propose non-functional needs in sprints to ensure the software meets performance, security, and other non-functional requirements.
• Estimate, break down, and update User Stories and Tasks to ensure accurate project planning and tracking.
• Update Sprint Backlog to reflect progress and any changes in scope.

Mandatory Skills Description:

• 2+ years of experience with ActivePivot and 6+ years of experience with Java.
• Experience working with ActiveViam ActivePivot is a must.
• Good operational familiarity with the Java programming language.
• Good knowledge in UNIX platform and data management systems (SQL, BigData)
• Experience with automation frameworks and libraries.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Shell script)
• Valuable exposure to tools & technologies like Elastic Search, Grafana, Prometheus, Kibana, Control-M, Kafka, Confluence, Jira, Gitlab, MQ Series
• Knowledge of Cloud platforms and services
• Experience in DevOps tooling (Git, Maven, Ansible, Jenkins... )
• Experience with Docker/Kurbernetes

Nice-to-Have Skills Description:

• Experience with both ActivePivot 5.x and ActivePivot 6.x would be ideal
• Domain-Driven design and Microservices: springboot
• Exposure to Capital Markets applications
• Experience in supporting capital market applications and trading systems, ideally within the dynamic landscape of Market Risk/Front Office operations with a commendable grasp of financial products (Treasury, FX, Credit, IRD, Bonds, RSF etc.)

Education:-

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field
