SENIOR KOTLIN ENGINEER

Svitla Systems Inc. is looking for a Senior Kotlin Engineer for a full-time position (40 hours per week) in Ukraine. Our client is the world’s leading cryptocurrency wallet company, which is designed to provide users with access to Web3, facilitating online payments and the exchange of digital assets through blockchain. It supports millions of assets across 100+ blockchains, including major chains like Bitcoin, Ethereum, BNB Smart Chain, Cosmos, and Polkadot. The application combines a web-based browser and a complete security audited system to send, receive, and store digital assets as well as synchronize with tokens issued on the Ethereum blockchain, enabling users to exchange bitcoins, currencies, and assets in real-time, interact with any decentralized application and have complete control of their Ethereum-based collectibles. We’re seeking experienced engineers who are passionate about building amazing products to join the Kotlin multiplatform team. This team creates and maintains a shared business logic layer across Android, iOS, and web apps. They’re constructing the SDK that reacts to user input and dictates what the UI displays on millions of devices. Currently, the KMM SDK integrates the business logic of blockchain interactions. They are expanding it to encompass even more of the app’s functionality. While they apply the MVI pattern, the views reside outside the KMM codebase. They believe that the “native” code should handle UI.

Requirements

• Minimum 4 years of experience in software engineering, with a strong focus on Kotlin and SDK/library development.
• Knowledge of the Android ecosystem, including understanding feature sets and implementing best practices across devices and operating system versions.
• Understanding of web technologies with the ability to effectively write and debug JS-based applications.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work autonomously within a fast-paced, high-stakes environment.
• Excellent communication skills, proactive approach to client support, and team collaboration.
• Adept in modern development practices, including automated testing and continuous integration for library development.

• Previous engagement in blockchain-specific projects, especially related to wallet development.
• Knowledge of Swift and the Apple ecosystem.
• Experience in working with different blockchain protocols and standards.
• Knowledge of full-stack SDKs like React Native and Flutter.

• Design, development, and optimization of Kotlin Multiplatform SDK. Ensure your code is robust, user-friendly, and reliable through rigorous testing.
• Craft clear, comprehensive documentation for SDK.
• Provide proactive support to developers, guiding seamless integration and troubleshooting potential issues to safeguard user assets.
