Middle DevOps Engineer

What we need:

We're looking for a Software Engineer with experience designing, building and maintaining high-scale, big-data distributed systems. You'll work closely with a strong team of 16 DevOps engineers across the company to deliver stable and highly scalable product.

What you'll be doing:

  • Collaborate on designing and setting up new features and system improvements
  • Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
  • Lead efforts to enhance observability through advanced monitoring and logging solutions
  • Update and maintain software processes and tools
  • Quickly respond to any issues in production and team up with others to fix them
  • Bring in current IT best practices to our setup
  • Work on reducing costs for the solutions we use
  • Database administration


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Have 3+ years of direct experience working in cloud infrastructure or software development
  • 3+ years experience with Kubernetes
  • 2+ years experience with GCP or
  • 3+ years experience with AWS or Azure
  • Programming skills in any scripting language
  • Practical knowledge in monitoring, logging, and setting up alerts
  • Practical knowledge in monitoring, logging, and setting up alerts
  • Grafana / Open Telemetry
  • Elasticsearch


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Aerospike, MongoDB experience is a plus
  • Familiarity with high-scale, big-data distributed systems
  • Familiar with CI/CD processes and tools.
  • Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools terraform/config connector/cross plane
  • Skills in infrastructure or cost optimization
  • Knowledge in the administration of PostgreSQL
  • Knowledge in the administration of Hadoop / HBase
