Svitla Systems Inc. is looking for a Senior Data Analyst for a full-time position (40 hours per week) in Ukraine. As the first Data Analyst at the company, you will work closely with engineering, product, and leadership teams to build a data-driven culture. You will be responsible for leveraging the newly established AWS data lake to provide actionable insights, establish data governance, and help shape the future of analytics in the organization.

Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar analytical role, preferably in a fast-growing tech environment.
- Proven expertise in building and managing data lakes, with hands-on experience in AWS (S3, Athena, Redshift, Glue).
- Strong knowledge of SQL and data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI).
- Knowledge of Python or R.
- Demonstrated experience in establishing data governance frameworks and ensuring data quality.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex data to non-technical stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, etc.) or equivalent work experience.
- Experience in designing ETL pipelines and working with big data technologies.
- Familiarity with machine learning techniques and predictive analytics.
- Lead the development of data analytics initiatives, focusing on creating meaningful insights for business units.
- Utilize the AWS data lake to gather, process, and analyze large datasets, ensuring data is accessible, accurate, and actionable.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and develop metrics, reports, and dashboards that drive decision-making.
- Define and implement data governance practices, ensuring data integrity and security.
- Develop automated reporting systems and scalable analytics processes.
- Serve as the subject matter expert for data analytics within the organization.
- Mentor and train other employees on best data analytics, visualization, and reporting practices.
