Information Security Analyst

We are seeking a skilled Risk/Governance Specialist with experience in the Banking or NBFC sector and a strong understanding of RBI IT regulations.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in risk management, governance frameworks, and compliance processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to RBI IT regulations, guidelines, and best practices for the Banking/NBFC sector.

• Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate IT and operational risks by implementing appropriate controls.

• Governance Frameworks: Develop and maintain governance frameworks in alignment with organizational goals and regulatory requirements.

• Policy Development: Draft and update IT and information security policies, ensuring alignment with regulatory mandates and industry standards.

• Audit Coordination: Facilitate internal and external audits, including those related to IT systems, information security, and compliance.

• Vendor Risk Management: Assess and monitor third-party/vendor risks, ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal standards.

• Incident Management: Oversee incident response and root cause analysis for security or governance-related incidents.

• Training and Awareness: Conduct training sessions on regulatory requirements and risk management best practices.

Required Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in Risk Management or Governance in the Banking or NBFC industry.

• In-depth knowledge of RBI IT regulations and their application to IT systems and processes.

• Proven experience in developing and implementing governance frameworks and risk management strategies.

• Strong analytical skills to assess risks and recommend mitigation plans.

• Hands-on experience with audit processes and compliance management.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certifications such as ISO 27001.

• Familiarity with cybersecurity and data privacy regulations.

• Excellent communication and documentation skills to convey regulatory requirements and governance processes effectively
