Role Description
This is a contract role for an IT Support Engineer - VIP based on-site in Kfar Saba. The role involves providing technical support, troubleshooting, system administration, and help desk support to VIP clients. Responsibilities include ensuring smooth operations, resolving technical issues, and delivering high-quality support services tailored to VIP requirements.
Job Description:
· Excellent interpersonal skills and able to deal with Directors in efficient and polite manner.
· Good at diffusing tense situations.
· Friendly and approachable
· Can do attitude.
· Ability to travel for VIP assistance at varying locations.
· Willing to attend events and be there on standby to assists users and VIPs with any issues
· Good Knowledge with Apple products normally used by VIPs.
· Maintain backup devices and keep them configured in case needed as a hot swap for the VIPs.
· Pro-active checks with VIPs when new patches are rolled out. Make sure the backup devices are not patched until certain the VIP devices are OK first.
· VIPs treated as a resolve first and worry about the rest later
· Priority is always to VIP user over other tasks.
· This position requires the ability to be flexible in hours of work as a VIP may reach out to you direct at any point.
· VIPs Secretaries also to be treated with the same response as a VIP.
Other Duties
· Accurately testing, identifying, repairing, resolving, and documenting end user technical issues regarding network/desktop support, printers, PDAs, BlackBerrys, and LAN cable drops
· Troubleshooting and resolving software issues; reimaging computers/hard drives
· Backing up and restoring settings and associated systems administration activities
· Taking ownership of issues through to resolution on all appropriate requests.
· Categorize and prioritize end user support requests and service requests by utilizing a
· Remedy ticketing system to track tickets and provide up-to-date status and information.
· Move equipment associated with escalated help desk incidents and service requests
· Performing asset inventory activities as needed.
· Trains and orients staff on use of hardware and software.
· Recommends and / or performs upgrades on systems to ensure longevity.
· Works with procurement staff to purchase hardware and software. You may be required to mentor/coach junior level technicians and assist in Level 1/2 support as needed.

- Strong Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Word, and Excel) Strong Microsoft operating System installation and troubleshooting skills Strong Break / Fix skills Desktops, Workstations, Notebooks and Printers Broad experience of IT with basic/intermediate understanding of Networks, Servers and Telecoms, LAN/ WAN Strong customer service skills Ability to provide consistent, excellent customer support to entire staff, representing a variety of personalities and management levels Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and local language Must be detail oriented and self-motivating Background security check required Experience including remote control of PCs and video conferencing knowledge Handling of Tape Media and basic Back-ups loading and loading techniques
