Junior Software Engineer

Join our Technology Team supporting the Commodities and Global Markets Business. You will learn and develop skills to create and maintain software platforms for our Global Post Trade users.

What role will you play?

As a Junior Software Engineer, you will continue learning and support various aspects of Software development and maintenance. You will be part of a team who primarily focused on backend development using Core Java.

You will gain exposure to architecture, development, testing, observability, and collaborate with Senior Engineers to develop new features or platform enhancements to improve the experience and reliability of our Post trade Technology Platforms.

What You Offer

• Familiarity with Core Java or Python for back-end software development
• Relevant computer science or programming tertiary education
• Some knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and Data Structures
• Some previous experience may be valuable, such an internship or volunteering
• Good communication skills, problem-solving ability and a drive to keep learning
• For reference, our key technology stack includes but may not be limited to: Core Java back end, Spring Boot framework, React front end, AWS, Kafka messaging, Linux/ Unix, SQL, Jira/ Confluence, Git/Bitbucket
